By using run4luv, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

run4luv is a platform where users pledge running and walking miles for loved ones who are struggling. The service includes activity tracking, community features, and an online merchandise shop.

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to use most features. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information and keep it updated.

4. Merchandise Purchases

All merchandise purchases are final. Prices are in US dollars. We use Stripe for payment processing and Printful for order fulfillment. Shipping times vary based on product type and destination. Custom items (personalized with a name) cannot be returned unless defective.

If you receive a defective or incorrect item, contact us within 14 days at support@run4luv.com for a replacement.

5. User Content

You are responsible for the content you post, including pledge messages and community interactions. Content must not be hateful, harassing, or violate any laws. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms.

6. Intellectual Property

The run4luv name, logo, and branding are our intellectual property. You may not use them without permission. Your running data and pledges remain yours.

7. Limitation of Liability

run4luv is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms. You may delete your account at any time through your profile settings.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of run4luv after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Company Status & Pledges

run4luv is a for-profit company. We built this app because we believe in the power of dedicating your physical effort to someone you care about.

When you create a pledge, you are making a personal commitment to run or walk miles in honor of someone you love. A pledge is not a charitable donation, and no money is transferred to any third party as a result of pledging. It's simply your personal dedication—nothing more, nothing less.

When you purchase merchandise from our shop, that purchase supports run4luv directly. It helps us keep the app free and continue improving the experience for everyone.

12. Information About Others

When you create a pledge, you may enter the first name of a person, pet, or concept you are running for. By entering a name, you acknowledge that this name will appear on your pledge page.

The name may be visible to other run4luv users if you choose to share your pledge publicly. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any name you enter.
