DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT

You can delete your run4luv account at any time. This page explains how, what gets removed, what we keep, and how long you have to change your mind.

How to delete your account

Choose whichever is easiest. All three do the same thing.

  1. In the iPhone app: open Profile, scroll to the bottom, tap Delete Account, and confirm.
  2. On the web: sign in, go to your profile, scroll to the bottom, choose Delete Account, type DELETE to confirm, and submit.
  3. By email: send a message to privacy@run4luv.com from the email address on your account with the subject “Delete my account”. We will confirm by reply and process the request the same way as an in-app deletion.

The 30-day grace period

When you request deletion you are signed out immediately and your account is scheduled for deletion. You then have 30 days to change your mind: simply sign back in and your account, pledges, and runs are restored exactly as they were. After 30 days without signing in, the deletion is carried out and cannot be undone.

What is deleted

  • Your profile (name, email, bio) and your profile picture
  • All of your pledges, including any public pledge pages you turned on
  • All of your logged and synced runs and walks
  • Your messages and conversations
  • Teams you created (members are removed; teams you merely joined simply lose you as a member)
  • Connections to Apple Health, Strava, and any other services, including stored access tokens
  • Push-notification device tokens
  • Badges, streaks, and referral records tied to your account

What is retained

  • Order records for anything you bought in the shop are kept for accounting and tax purposes, but they are anonymized — your name, email, and address are removed and the order is no longer linked to you.
  • Aggregate community statistics (for example, total miles run by everyone) are not recalculated. These are totals only and cannot identify you.

A note about Health data

If you connected Apple Health, run4luv only ever read walking and running workouts (distance, duration, date) to log them as runs. Deleting your account deletes those logged runs from our servers. It does not change anything in Apple Health itself, and it does not remove the app's permission on your device — you can revoke that at any time in Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → run4luv. Uninstalling the app does not delete your account; please use one of the steps above.
